The Traverse City Swim Club (TCSC) is a year-round competitive swimming team founded to provide the opportunity for Grand Traverse area children the opportunity to participate in swimming as part of a team.  Swimmers new to the team may join at any time if pool space permits.   Please look around our website.  We hope your favorite young swimmer will become a part of the Breakers team!

USA-S Registration - Seasonal Athlete:       $34.00

Steps to Register Your Swimmer

  1. Review the group descriptions to determine where your swimmer best fits in.  If you are not sure, please contact Coach Kelly Leassner by phone (231-264-6790) or e-mail to schedule an evaluation for your swimmer.  Swimmer evaluations are held by appointment during practice time.  Please contact Coach Kelly to schedule your swimmer's evaluation.
  2. Register your swimmer online using the form below. Please fill in all information completely and click on "Register" to complete the online registration process.
  3. Pay your registration fee.  You may pay with a credit card online using PayPal, or you may send a check made payable to "TCSC" to P.O. Box 302, Traverse City, MI, 49685-0302.  If you are paying by check, please note that in the "Comments/Requests" box at the bottom of the form.  If you are paying by credit card, please click on the link below.  See the Fee Schedule at left to calculate your registration fee total.
  4. All of our swimmers must be USA-S registered for our club insurance to be in effect in the event of an injury on deck or in the pool.  If your swimmer is particpating for the full year, the USS fee is $54.  Please download and complete a USA-S Y-R Athlete form, and return it to Aimee Bissonette at the pool on your swimmer's first day of practice.  If your swimmer is participating for the fall session only, the USA-S seasonal athlete fee is $34.  Please download and complete a USA-S Seasonal Athlete form, and return it to Aimee Bissonette at the pool on your swimmer's first day of practice.  The team MUST have a USA-S athlete registration form on file for your swimmer. IMPORTANT:  Although the form says differently, please make your check payable to "TCSC". The club will then send one check for the total amount to Michigan Swimming.
  5. Visit our Team Store to view required and recommended equipment for the Gold and Silver Groups.
